The Rinka Hunting and Educational Trail is intended for learning about the animals that live in our direct proximity as well as their living environment. Visitors learn about even-toed ungulates, carnivora, field game animals, birds and the environment in which they live: the forest, the edge of the forest, the meadow, and the orchard. The role of the hunters and forest rangers in the preservation of the environment and the ensuring of biodiversity is described and hunting facilities are presented. This includes a hunting cabin with a collection of taxidermy animals, a hunting tower, a bird feeder, a corn storage facility and a shooting ground.
The learning trail is about 400m long and is intended for all generations, especially the youngest, to help them start a life that is kind to nature and animals. The circular path is marked by the symbol of a fox, which is quite common here, and is the most cunning and adaptable of all the wild animals.
The Rinka Hunting and Educational Trail runs along the south edge of the Ponikovski kras (Ponikva karst) protected area. It was created in September 2010.
