Borut Jovan gained his experience at Michelin restaurants in Italy, Spain, France and Denmark and improved his knowledge with Ana Roš and Jožko Sirk. He used to manage the à la carte restaurant, Prestige, and today he is among the top ten chefs in Slovenia.
He uses exclusively Slovenian ingredients, most of them are locally produced (depending on the season), and many of them are prepared by himself – herbal salts, herbal oils, pasta, jams, bread, herbal and fruit juices, etc.
A charming shelf with his products is located within the restaurant which reminds the visitor of a comfortable dining room inside a home.
At the Galerija okusov, they always adapt to the wishes and needs of their guests. Not only do they adjust the menu to any type of needs or diets, allergies, vegetarians, vegans and raw dishes, celiac disease diet, etc. They also organise birthday parties and anniversary celebrations, weddings, business conferences, and other events from the beginning until the very end, including the planning, the sending of invitations, as well as the festivities.
They offer a complete range of services and bring something new to the Slovenian culinary scene.
